Christmas at the House of Savoy
A journey into the history of the House of Savoy, a unique experience to discover the traditions of Christmas at the Royal House.
By accessing the rooms of the Royal Castle of Govone you will have the opportunity to observe valuable objects inherent to the Savoy Christmas traditions and experience, for the duration of the journey, a journey through history by moving from room to room accompanied by guides in costume.
Unique opportunity to visit the enchanting Savoy manor during the period preceding the Christmas holidays.
The “Christmas at the House of Savoy” tour itinerary, set up on the main floor of the Govone castle, is an itinerary which can be accessed during the opening days of the event; it lasts approximately 25 minutes and is mainly suitable for adults.
Access to the exhibition presents architectural barriers therefore strollers and prams cannot access it.
Only small dogs are allowed as long as they are kept in a special carrier.

How to reach Govone
It is possible to use the shuttle service only (Giachino bus lines) with the special route ASTI-GOVONE-ASTI departing from Asti (Movicentro BUS STATION PIAZZALE MEDAGLIE D'ORO).
The cost of the ticket is 3.40 for a single journey, which can be purchased on board the bus or on the Trenitalia website (currently being updated).
The shuttle service will ONLY be available on the weekends of the event and on 8th December. You can find all the info about timetables at this link.
